After a ten-year career in interior design, I stepped away to fully embrace life as a stay-at-home mom. In the midst of raising my family, I rediscovered my long suppressed passion for painting-- and it quickly became my true voice. I am by nature, a private person who prefers working behind the scenes. You'll often find me tucked away in my studio alongside my cat, Bunnie, bringing to life the ideas that have been brewing inside. Painting purely for myself, allowed me to develop a distinctive style that is bold yet intimate, layered with color, emotion, and personal truth. My hope is that these pieces leave you feeling strong, empowered, and truly seen-- just as they do for me.
Artist Statement
My work explores power, identity, and protection through confident female figures in bold, enigmatic portraits. I sometimes replace faces with sculptural forms that serve as both crown and armour, conveying modern strength and resilience.
